Can I buy your airship?
Usually not. Our main goal is to provide services based on our looncraft and sell the data or information our customers need in the requested format. However, we are always open to discuss your special idea and see if we can help. Just drop us a line!
Can your airship explode like the Hindenburg?
No. Our airships are filled with helium. This is a noble gas that is not flammable, nontoxic and odorless. It does give you a funny voice though! 🐭
Will your airship even fly in windy conditions?
Yes, our airships can fly in windy conditions just like aerodynes (helicopters, multicopters, fixed wings). The maximum airspeed they can endure is dependent on the drag of the airship and its installed power. oblX, e.g., is designed for an airspeed of up to 30 km/h. Due to their large volume airships usually have a higher drag than comparable aerodynes. On the other hand airships don't have to spend energy for staying airborne in the first place. Like that power systems and endurable airspeed can have similar dimensions up to a certain threshold. Airships won't go supersonic any time soon, though.
