During the event in Friedrichshafen there was much more flying than just the race itself. We also flew regularly during the day to entertain passers-by. I particularly enjoyed it when small groups of children would sit and watch, and would make it a point to fly near them. One nice thing about the Little Ghost is it is so small and maneuverable, which made it easier and safer to fly closer to the kids than might be wise with a larger blimp. This video was shot on the last day, when the crowds had thinned out since most of the people had already gone home.
